His estate planning practice includes the drafting of trusts and wills and related tax planning, and the administration of trusts and estates. His real estate practice focuses on leases and purchase and sale agreements, and related financing and title work.
Mr. Harrison has been a frequent speaker on estate planning and real estate law topics, and has served as a moderator and lecturer at events sponsored by Continuing Education of the Bar of California (CEB), the Marin County Bar Association, Mentor Legal Drafting Courses and the Marin Community Foundation. He was a contributing author of Complete Plans for Small and Mid-Sized Estates, published by CEB in 2006 and updated annually thereafter, and of the Estate Planning Module of California Transaction Forms, published by West Group in October 1999. Mr. Harrison also served as legal consultant for Estates: Planning Ahead, published by the Cancer Prevention Institute of California (formerly Northern California Cancer Center) as a guide to estate planning issues faced by individuals and families touched by cancer and which is currently in its eighth edition.
Mr. Harrison is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Marin County Estate Planning Council and Community Action Marin (CAM), and he served as president of the Marin Unit of the American Cancer Society. He has also been recognized for providing pro-bono legal services to seniors through Legal Aid of Marin.
